Why Vedeggio?
I made this app because I suck at managing my expenses.
First problem was that filling each expense manually sucks. Sure it helps you understand more deeply what you spend your money on. But I wanted a lazy option too — uploading expense files and quickly seeing what I spend my money on.
Vedeggio is the name of a Swiss river in the region of Lugano. Why did I pick it as the name? Because I want to show all your money in a river-like structure, a sankey chart (kinda looks like a river, doesn't it?). That way you can see what's going on with a quick look and then navigate to where you want more understanding of.
I intend to add more things. I want all my expenses, investments, and income in one place and in an easy way to see where the money is going towards.
The goal for this is to be the one stop shop to manage your money. It's the app I plan on using until I'm 100 years old. I hope you love it as much as I do.
Why I charge
I charge because I want to build something sustainable.
No ads. No selling your data. No VC pressure to grow at all costs. Just a simple tool that does its job well.
Your subscription keeps the lights on and development moving. It aligns my incentives with yours: make Vedeggio better, not more addictive.
